I also work for Dynamic Midwest Events & Promotions (the company behind Anime St. Louis) as the Programming Chair.My duties range from:
Creating a 3-day schedule with over 200 events. Up to 6 events generally running concurrently. This includes setup and teardown times, rehearsals and run-times.
Work with the venue on tech and setup needs for each panel, event and concert.
Sort 90+ panel submissions to find which ones best fit our convention schedule.
Travel to other conventions to research trends, habits and management styles.
Manage a team of 25+ staff members before and during convention weekend
Swiftly and professionally handle at-convention incidents
